On 15 December 2025, UNISEM Simpang Pulai was honoured to host a comprehensive Safety & Awareness Program led by the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) — marking their first engagement of this scale at an industrial site in Perak. The programme reflected a shared commitment to prevention, preparedness, and the well-being of both our workplace and the wider community.
The event was officiated by YDH CP Dato’ Noor Hisam Bin Nordin, Chief Police Officer of Perak, and graced by the presence of Mr. Kevin Khoo, Group Chief Operating Officer of UNISEM, followed by a keynote address by Mr. KC Liew, Vice President of UNISEM. The programme featured impactful awareness sessions by SOCSO (PERKESO) and PDRM departments covering workplace and road safety, scam and fraud prevention, and responsible driving practices. Highlights included the PLPGA Motorcycle Gimmick Show and interactive exhibition booths from various enforcement and regulatory agencies.
We were also pleased to welcome media representatives from TV3 and Bernama, along with NGO partners and industry participants such as McDonald’s, whose presence helped amplify the message of safety and shared responsibility.
Our sincere appreciation goes to PDRM Perak, SOCSO, all participating agencies, partners, media, and NGOs for their dedication and professionalism. This meaningful collaboration reinforced an important reminder — a safer future is built through awareness, cooperation, and continuous vigilance.
